Note: it is not important that they all be done differently, they will curl up no matter which tentacle pattern you follow, but they will curl a bit differently
place eyes on the body in the front of the octo's body, on the 2nd to last row of single crochets. there should be 3 stitches visible in between the eye placement if you are using 13 mm eyes.
Bottom
~ ch 2
~ 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook, slip stitch to first ch, bind off leaving a long tail
make sure your octo is stuffed fully, then sew the bottom into the opening.
other details, if you want to add suckers to the tentacles, use colored glue or felt pieces.
real octopi have mouths with beaks at the bottom of their bodies, the stitches down here might look like a mouth if you use a different color
you could make an alien creature or cthulhu like creature if you make a human like body instead of a bottom and attach it where you would the bottom.
i'd love to see all yours! if you can, post them in the comments :)
